Process

Application Availability and Publication

亚色视频 will post the Student Emergency Financial Aid Application on their 亚色视频 Webpage.
Students will be informed of the Student Emergency Financial Aid Application through Blackboard global announcements, 亚色视频 email account, text messaging service, and social media.

Award Determination

Students who submit the application for Student Emergency Financial Aid during the application period and who meet the eligibility criteria will be awarded a minimum of $500, pending availability of funds.

Award Notification and Distribution

Students will be notified via their 亚色视频 student email of their award status. If approved, emergency financial aid funds will be disbursed to 亚色视频 students in the following manner:

亚色视频 Students who have direct deposit information on file will be paid via direct deposit;
Checks will be mailed to all 亚色视频 students who do not have direct deposit information on file.

Application Period

Spring 2021

Spring 2021 Application (Application Period for Spring 2021 is now closed)

Student applications for Student Emergency Financial Aid will be available to 亚色视频 students until April 30, 2021.
Students may complete the application for Student Emergency Financial Aid in an online electronic form available on the 亚色视频 Webpage.
Students who meet the eligibility criteria but do not complete the application for Student Emergency Financial Aid will not be considered for award.

Eligibility

Emergency grants will be made available to 亚色视频 students that:

Submit an application using the link provided on or before April 30, 2021;
Have incurred expenses related to the disruption of 亚色视频 campus activities related to COVID-19; and
Are enrolled at 亚色视频 during the spring 2021 semester.

Notification

亚色视频 students who submit an application will be notified via their 亚色视频 email account the week of May 10, 2021 of their award status.

Disburse Statement

亚色视频 will disburse funds to eligible students on or before May 14, 2021.

Spring 2020

Spring 2020 Application (Application Period for Spring 2020 is now closed)

Student applications for Student Emergency Financial Aid will be available to 亚色视频 students between May 1, 2020 and May 15, 2020.
Students may complete the application for Student Emergency Financial Aid in an online electronic form available on the 亚色视频 Webpage.
Students who meet the eligibility criteria but do not complete the application for Student Emergency Financial Aid will not be considered for award.
Round two of student applications for Student Emergency Financial Aid will be available to qualifying 亚色视频 students between May 21st and May 29th.

Eligibility

Emergency grants will be made available to 亚色视频 students that submit an application and:

Have incurred expenses related to the disruption of 亚色视频 campus activities related to COVID-19;
Were enrolled at 亚色视频 during the spring 2020 semester in at least one face-to-face class, face-to-face lab, or clinical course on or prior to March 13, 2020;
Filed a 2019-2020 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) OR will complete and file a FAFSA on or before applying for financial aid emergency funds in addition to meeting all of the following criteria:
1. U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen that is otherwise eligible to receive federal Title IV aid;
2. Assigned a valid Social Security number;
3. Registered with the Selective Service (if required);
4. Not have a conviction for the possession or sale of illegal drugs;
5. Completed a high school diploma, General Educational Development (GED), or approved homeschool diploma;
6. Enrolled in a degree-seeking program during the spring 2020 semester;
7. Meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) guidelines;
8. Not be in default with any federal student loans or owe an overpayment on any federal grants;
